Parents shouldn't be lonely: NCT Christmas Appeal

We believe all new parents should feel confident and supported - wherever they live and whatever their background. But half of the parents feel lonely. The recent published Coram report on the prevalence of parental loneliness highlighted the issue, saying “Over half of parents with young children feel lonely, with those on lowest incomes twice as likely to be affected”.

Help us fund NCT’s new service Baby & Me with the big ambition to reach those parents facing hardship and loneliness. No one should parent alone.

Baby & Me is planned to be a new volunteer-led service which aims to reduce social isolation and provide information and support to new parents, particularly those in most need. We will also involve our brilliant NCT course leaders to share trusted information and caring support. The Christmas appeal aims to raise money to pilot this new service.
